The Delegate Sponsorship Fund

If your congregation is able, please help us bring and house Delegates by contributing to our Delegate Sponsorship Fund. Delegates are the voices of our member churches at meetings such as the Uniting General Council, and their presence here in June is crucial to the work of shaping and launching the new World Communion of Reformed Churches.

The average travel and housing cost for a delegate from an overseas church is $2000. A gift of $1000 would help us cover half the costs of one delegate, but any amount is much appreciated! The majority of WARC and REC member churches are in the global south, where even applying for a visa is a major challenge, due to application fees and the local travel involved. The WARC and REC will match Delegate Sponsorship funds with delegates who cannot cover all their international travel and housing for the UGC.

To send your contribution, please write a check to "Reformed Ecumenical Council," and put "UGC Delegate Sponsorship" in the memo line.
